The Hid houses 18 different
residents
The Hid is home to more than 2,000 PhD students, biochemists, researchers, lab technicians, professors and other professionals.
Hid-resident Sanquin Research alone employs 17 professors from a variety of specialist fields, who work part-time at various Dutch universities.
The Hid district now occupies approximately 60,000m² gross floor area. By 2035 that figure should at least double.
Our community supports fundamental research, complex diagnostics and development and production of medicines and vaccines. Different stakeholders on the campus collaborate to drive advancements in healthcare to not only treat but also work towards cure of patients in the near future.
Our space at the Hid is designed to provide maximum comfort and convenience for our residents, with state-of-the-art laboratories and multiple meeting places for both work-related and social gatherings.
Our open innovation campus is in close proximity to the city center of Amsterdam. With various Knowledge institutions, the national airport and mobility hubs, the Hid offers and optimal environment for living and working.
