OUR FIRST MILESTONE

The first step in this ambitious expansion is the construction of the Lewis Building, covering 17,000 square meters. Slated to begin in 2026 and complete by December 2027, this building will serve as a hub for advanced laboratory space and collaborative work environments. It represents a crucial milestone in our long-term vision, providing the necessary infrastructure to support a growing number of research initiatives and industrial partnerships.

NEW BUILDINGS TO MEET GROWING
INNOVATION NEEDS

As part of a broader master plan, three additional development phases will introduce six more buildings, each designed to accommodate the evolving needs of startups, scale-ups, and established companies. These buildings will integrate state-of-the-art facilities tailored to the specific demands of biotech research, ensuring that Hid continues to attract top talent and cutting-edge projects from around the world.

A STRATEGIC HUB FOR
GLOBAL CONNECTIVITY

Strategically located near key transport links, including Schiphol Airport and the Zuidas business district, Hid offers seamless connectivity to international markets. This, combined with Amsterdam’s rich expertise in artificial intelligence and a highly skilled workforce, positions the district as a critical driver of innovation in the European life sciences sector. Through this expansion, Hid is not only enhancing its physical footprint but also its role as a catalyst for pioneering healthcare solutions.
