Network

Start-ups, scale-ups, SMEs and pharmaceutical giants find eachother at the Hid. In addition, Hid-resident Sanquin has ties with incubator HealthInc and the  North Holland Innovation Fund.

Smart heads

At Hid-resident Sanquin Research alone, 17 professors work within a variety of specialist fields. They work part-time at various Dutch universities.

Accessibility

From the Hid you are just 23 minutes from Central Station, in the heart of Amsterdam. And you can be at Schiphol airport in less than fifteen minutes. Relaxing after work or study? Go for a run around the Sloterplas (3 minutes away) or grab a movie in De Hallen (10 minutes).

State of the art

The Hid houses diagnostic labs, stem cell labs with GMP facility, and a plasma-derived medicines factory. Some of the necessary facilities are centralised within Research Facilities, where specially trained and dedicated operators make a variety of technologies available to individual researchers.
