Inspiring neighbours

The District is located within the Slotervaart Medical Centre (MCS) where neighbours already work closely together: Sanquin, the Netherlands Cancer Institute/Antoni van Leeuwenhoek (NKI/AVL), the new residents of the former Slotervaart Hospital and Cordaan. 

In order to offer a continued quality of life to as many patients as possible, the site will be further expanded in the years ahead to become an inspiring meeting place for all those who pursue this goal. The municipality of Amsterdam supports the development and has contributed financially to the start-up costs.
